Frequently Asked Questions

Keystone Collective is a membership group that helps homeowners, farms, businesses, and nonprofits access more competitive pricing on propane, heating oil, and kerosene.
By bringing members together, we create the buying power of a much larger customer base, giving suppliers a reason to offer more competitive pricing than most individuals could secure on their own.
Simply put: we’re stronger together.
-
You join the Collective. We combine the fuel volume needs of our members and negotiate with trusted local energy suppliers.
Once supplier selections are finalized, we’ll share the approved energy suppliers and pricing available to members.
You then establish an account directly with the supplier and purchase fuel as you normally would.
We do the negotiating. You enjoy the savings.
-
No. Keystone Collective is not an energy supplier. We work on behalf of our members to identify suppliers and negotiate pricing opportunities.
All fuel purchases, billing, deliveries, and customer service are handled directly through your selected supplier.
-
The supplier available to you depends on your location and fuel type.
In some areas, members may have more than one participating supplier to choose from.
Each year, we communicate approved suppliers and member pricing before the heating season begins.
-
Yes. Membership is open year-round, and you can begin benefiting from available pricing whenever you join.
That said, we encourage members to join or renew during the spring and summer months, when supplier negotiations are taking place for the upcoming heating season.

Residential Membership: $45 per year
Business & Nonprofit Membership: $55 per year
Additional properties or fuel types can be added for a small added annual fee.
Membership costs are intentionally kept low so that even modest fuel savings can quickly offset the annual fee.
